What can I say: I'm back! Because wherever you look, tennis socks are back - and not just to play tennis with. In 2022 you can wear me always and with (almost) anything! I am produced in Europe and made of 90% cotton spun in Italy. It is particularly soft and cozy, which makes me extra comfortable to wear. As a naturally growing material, cotton is also very skin-friendly. My entire sole as well as the toe and heel area have a double layer, which makes me extra comfortable. Well, and then there is of course my cool design: in a classic white or casual black base color, with a contrasting toe and heel area and of course my message on the back.
OUR TIP: The lifestyle socks are cut on the larger side. It's recommended to order one size smaller – for example, if you wear a shoe size 39, choose size 35/38. The socks will shrink slightly after the first wash!

Tennis socks are back!
BACK TO WHITE.
It's been a little over 100 years since it first made its appearance on tennis courts around the world – the white tennis sock.
We're in the year 1919: French professional tennis player Suzanne Lenglen not only dominates the tennis world (with an astounding 25 Grand Slam titles to her name), but also creates a sensation with her striking appearances on the court. She often shows up in a fur coat, wearing sleeveless outfits with a deep neckline.
French fashion designer Jean Patou eventually tailors an outfit for her that continues to make her famous to this day: a white pleated skirt (without the then-obligatory petticoat) paired with knee-high white socks.
Soon, the trend of white socks caught on with men, and since then, white tennis socks have become an indispensable part of the tennis world.
Sometime in the late 80s or early 90s, tennis socks suddenly became ubiquitous: icons like Pamela Anderson, Michael Jackson, or Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses made the look fashionable.
As with all trends, this one also followed a wave-like pattern, and so, in the early 2000s, tennis socks were suddenly frowned upon and (supposedly) reserved exclusively for German tourists in shorts and sandals ;-)
And today? Whether you take a look at the collections of the major fashion houses around the world or at the outfits of the trend-setting street style girls (and boys, of course): the white tennis sock is back!
A bit rebellious, a bit nerdy, and with a large dose of retro, it instantly adds interest to a look while remaining practical for everyday wear.
