Suitable kids’ ski goggles are essential for protecting young skiers’ eyes from sunshine, snow and wind. Our ski goggles for kids combine functional features with a comfortable fit. They are designed to fit children’s proportions and provide a secure and comfortable fit during activity.
Why Are Kids’ Ski Goggles Important?
Protecting the eyes is particularly important when skiing, as snow strongly reflects sunlight. Our kids’ ski goggles provide 100% UV protection and protect the eyes from UV radiation.
In addition to UV protection, ski goggles also form a barrier against snowfall, cold wind and other weather conditions. This supports the clearest possible vision and a comfortable feel on the slopes.
Our kids’ ski goggles carry a CE marking and meet the applicable European requirements.
Two Models for Different Requirements
Our JESS and JODY kids’ ski goggles differ primarily in their lens construction:
- JESS is a classic pair of kids’ ski goggles with a fixed lens. It does not feature an interchangeable-lens system.
- JODY features a magnetic interchangeable-lens system. A mirrored category 2 lens and a clear category 0 lens are included.
Both models are designed to fit children’s proportions and are available in a range of designs.
Lens Categories and Light Transmission
The VLT category indicates how much visible light passes through a lens. The appropriate category depends on the current light and weather conditions:
- Category 0 (80–100% VLT): very high light transmission for snowfall, twilight and poor visibility
- Category 1 (43–80% VLT): high light transmission for cloudy days and diffuse light conditions
- Category 2 (18–43% VLT): for changing conditions with sunny and cloudy periods
- Category 3 (8–18% VLT): for predominantly sunny and bright days
- Category 4 (3–8% VLT): for very intense sunlight
The VLT category describes light transmission and not UV protection. Regardless of their tint, all lenses used in our kids’ ski goggles provide 100% UV protection.

Child-Friendly Fit and Comfortable Wear
The frames of our kids’ ski goggles are designed to fit children’s proportions. Soft foam padding adapts to the contours of the face and helps distribute pressure evenly.
The padding provides a comfortable feel and additional protection against wind, cold and snow. For a good fit, the goggles should sit evenly against the face and leave as little gap as possible between the goggles and the child’s ski helmet.
Adjustable Goggle Strap with Silicone Strips
The elastic goggle strap can be adjusted to fit the child’s head or ski helmet. Silicone strips on the inside improve grip and help prevent the goggles from slipping on the helmet.
The strap should be adjusted so that the goggles fit securely without creating uncomfortable pressure.
Polycarbonate Double Lenses with UV Protection
The double lenses used in our kids’ ski goggles are made from robust yet lightweight polycarbonate. This durable material offers high impact resistance and provides clear vision with minimal distortion.
All lenses provide 100% UV protection for sensitive children’s eyes, regardless of their tint or visible light transmission.
Anti-Fog Coating and Ventilation System
The inside of the lenses features an anti-fog coating. Together with the double-lens construction and integrated ventilation system, it helps reduce fogging.
The ventilation openings support airflow and help direct warm, humid air away from the inside of the goggles. Make sure that the openings are not obstructed by the ski helmet, a hat or snow.
Care and Storage
After each day on the slopes, carefully remove snow and moisture from the goggles and allow them to dry completely at room temperature. Coarse dirt on the outside of the lens can be carefully removed using lukewarm water. Then use a clean, soft microfiber cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products.
Avoid touching or wiping the coated inside of the lens whenever possible. If it becomes wet, allow it to air-dry completely to protect the anti-fog coating.

JESS is suitable for anyone looking for classic kids’ ski goggles with a fixed lens. JODY is the right choice if you want to adapt the lens to different light and weather conditions. It features a magnetic interchangeable-lens system and comes with two lenses.
JESS has a fixed lens and does not feature an interchangeable-lens system. JODY comes with a mirrored category 2 lens and a clear category 0 lens. Both JODY lenses attach magnetically to the frame.
