polycarbonate Sunglasses lenses
Sunglasses lenses made of polycarbonate are particularly break-proof. So if you drop your sunglasses, the lenses won't be damaged easily. Should the glass break in the worst case, there is no risk of injury, as polycarbonate glasses do not splinter. Due to the high refractive index, polycarbonate glasses can be ground very thinly and are therefore very light. The material also offers excellent UV protection. For this reason, sunglasses with polycarbonate lenses are perfect for lifestyle and sports glasses. It goes without saying that we use polycarbonate for the lenses of all our POP EYES sunglasses.
The advantages at a glance:
- higher breaking strength
- very thin glasses
- very light weight
- excellent UV protection

Mirrored lenses
Mirrored sunglasses are all the rage these days and come in a variety of different colors. Mirrored sunglasses have an additional reflective coating on the outside of the lens. The mirroring is applied in several layers. This structure results in trendy effects that create color gradients.
advantages of mirrored Lenses
In bright sunshine and strong reflections, the sunlight is reflected much better and your eyes are perfectly protected from the sun's UV rays.
photochromic lenses
Self-tinting lenses, also known as photochromic lenses, adjust their tint to changing light conditions. The lenses are equipped with a special coating that reacts to UV radiation, darkening when exposed to the sun and lightening again when worn indoors or in lower light conditions. The advantages of self-tinting lenses are manifold. They are especially useful for people who frequently switch between indoor and outdoor spaces, or who live in regions with changeable weather. Photochromic lenses can also be beneficial for people with sensitive eyes as they can help reduce glare and protect the eye from UV rays. Overall, photochromic lenses are a practical option for people who want glasses for everyday use and want to enjoy the benefits of sunglasses without having to constantly switch between glasses. However, it is important to ensure they are suitable for the intended use and provide adequate UV protection.
anti-reflection coating
An anti-reflection coating on the backside of the lenses reduces glare and reflections, enhancing clarity and contrast.
adjustable nose pads
Adjustable nose pads ensure a comfortable and secure fit and can also help keep the goggles in place.
