WHICH SUNGLASSES SUIT MY FACE?
Sunglasses come in all shapes and sizes. But the sunglasses that you like in terms of look don't always match your face. It can therefore be very helpful, especially when shopping online, if you know which sunglasses suit you perfectly and emphasize your advantages.
WITH THE HELP OF OUR GUIDE YOU WILL EASILY FIND THE SuNGLASSES THAT PERFECTLY SUIT YOUR FACE!
FACE TYPES:
Roughly speaking, faces can be divided into four different shapes:
Oval, square, round and triangular.
You can tell which type you are by certain features of your face:
TYP 1:
OvAL
Faces that are oval are longer than they are wide. The middle of the face – the cheek area – is the widest part. The face is narrower at the jaw and forehead.
The ideal sunglasses for oval faces:
If you have an oval face, you can draw on the full, as with these features almost any pair of sunglasses will suit you.
Depending on the sunglasses model, you can make your face look different: With round or oval sunglasses, your contours become softer, with angular models your face becomes more distinctive.
You can also intensify these effects with the color of the frame or mirror of the sunglasses. Black makes the look stricter, a nice brown or light colors make the look softer.
TYP 2:
ANGULAR/SQUARE
The jaw, which is more or less the same width as the forehead or cheek area, is characteristic of angular or square face shapes. The contours are rather angular.
The ideal sunglasses for square faces:
Square faces look rather distinctive. Square sunglasses would further enhance this effect. So if you want to make your face look a little softer, we recommend sunglasses with round lenses. In this case, the frame should also be rather narrow and not too bulky.
TYP 3:
ROUND
The cheeks are wide, the face is about the same height as width. The contours are soft.
The ideal sunglasses for round faces:
Here, the same principle as for square face shapes applies: It is better to use sunglasses that counteract the shape of your face. So, if you have a round face, rather go for angular sunglasses. These sunglasses create a contrast to the shape of your face and make it look more oval, as they visually stretch the face.
TYP 4:
TRIANGULAR/HEART-Shaped
With triangular or heart-shaped faces, the forehead and cheek area form the widest part of the face. The face narrows down towards the chin.
The ideal sunglasses for triangular or heart-shaped faces:
Basically, sunglasses that have oval or round lenses are a good choice if you have a heart-shaped face. They make the chin and thus the entire face shape appear rounder and softer. However, if you want to emphasize the more distinctive areas of your face, then go for square sunglasses.
