Patrick loves life in the mountains – preferably on skis or in hiking boots.
As a certified ski instructor, he knows the white slopes like the back of his hand, but he’s also in his element when mountaineering or tackling long endurance runs. His drive? Discipline, passion – and that first espresso in bed.
In his free time, you’ll find him outdoors, either with his partner or close friends. For him, POP EYES isn’t just about stylish gear with top quality – it’s also about a real sense of family. How did you first hear about POP EYES?
Through friends (Gini and Simon).
What’s your favorite product from our range and why?
JAMIE ski goggles: cool look, fits perfectly with my helmet, and has great lenses. When it comes to sunglasses, I’m a fan of the FRED – awesome style and brilliant lenses!

What are your favorite sports?
Everything involving skis (alpine + touring) and mountaineering.
What has been your greatest sporting achievement or most memorable moment?
Becoming a certified ski instructor and completing an ultramarathon (self-organized).
What motivates you to keep going even on tough days?
My discipline begins where motivation ends.
What does a typical day look like for you?
On my days off, I spend my time in the mountains with my partner or close friends 🏔️🎿❄️☀️⛰️🥾
Do you have a ritual or habit you couldn’t live without?
Espresso in bed in the morning with my ❤️☕️

Yes – but as the question says… it's secret 😉😅
Are there any places or countries that have had a big impact on you, and why?
Generally, the mountains – where people share a passion and a deep connection with nature. Also Thailand – incredibly helpful, genuinely kind & grateful people.
Do you have a favorite spot where you especially love being active?
In my home region.
